As though the number of postpaid plans available from all the different telcos here in Malaysia are not complicating enough, U Mobile has just introduced several new postpaid plans called “the other postpaid plan” that comes with free calls and SMS.
The plans start from as low as RM28 (U28) which gives you 1GB of data and free 300 SMS to all operators but charges will apply for each call you make. Now, here’s the weird part, unlike U28, U58 at RM58/month will give you 2GB of data but instead of free SMS, it comes with free calls of 300 minutes; I wonder why would U Mobile think that those who require more data tend to make more calls. Finally if you’re a hardcore user the U88 plan at RM88 a month is probably the best choice to make because it comes with 300 free minutes and 300 SMS.
