Those of you waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to drop as an alternative to the iPad 2 or even the existing Android tablets out there, Samsung have come up with an official demo to show how the familiar TouchWiz interface from almost all Samsung Android devices plays with Android 3.0 Honeycomb. While we are usually quite dismissive about the skinning of the vanilla Android OS, the 12 minute demo made us sit up and take notice. Throughout the demo you get to see the features of honeycomb as well as pretty much the functionality of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 ahead of a launch here in Malaysia.
Samsung have already locked down the Android phone market with the incredible Samsung Galaxy S II, let’s see if they can do the same with the Tab 10.1. With everything, it’s all about the price as there is some stiff competition in the form of the Xoom and Eee Pad Transformer in the market.
